Dr. Lichtenhan was born in Manhattan, Kansas, and raised in nearby Wamego, Kansas.  As a student at Washburn University, Dr. Lichtenhan lettered all four years in basketball.  Continuing his education at the University of Kansas, he recieved his Medical Degree in 1987.  "Dr. Brad" traveled to Texas in 1996, establishing himself as a Texas Board Certified Family Practitioner, where his gained immeasurable experience with diabetes, dermatology, and cardiovascular disease.  Not surprisingly, when Dr. Brad joined the Bee Caves Medical family in 2007, many of his patients followed him due to the excellent and comprehensive care they recieved.  Dr. Brad believes a very important part of quality medical care is the patient/doctor relationship.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Brad's other hobbies include tennis, herpetology, and raising cacti.  His interest in herpetology has proved Dr. Brad to be an expert on snake bite treatments, and he has been called on to provide his expert opinions on snake bite cases over the years.
